SRP’s AerialBEST can provide a multitude of services: building/property imagery, building envelope analysis, 2D and 3D modelling, conceptual architecture imagery and thermal scans. All services start with our drone flight capturing hundreds of high resolution photos. These photos are the foundation on which we build our 3D point cloud, 3D models (BIM), orthomosaic maps, and digital surface & terrain maps.
We continually strive to provide unmatched data to our clients and consider ourselves 'facilitators of data'. Guide specifications, details, current code listing, imagery and point cloud data, are all pieces of information we gladly provide our clients to help them save time and money on their projects.
We are facilitators of data. Our drone allows us to capture data quickly and affordable which we process to create valuable information for owners, specifyers, architects and engineers.
To provide access to data and information for improving building efficiency and environmental management.
To provide enhanced capabilities for engineers and architects through data acquisition and processing.
Upon graduating from Algonquin College's Architectural Technology program, Mike gained experience working in an architectural firm in Ottawa, leaving him well-versed in building technology & AEC software. He returned to his hometown of North Bay in 2015 to join AerialBEST and has been instrumental in growing the building modelling services. With 4 years of flying experience, he has a keen understanding of RPAS principles and airspace laws in Canada.
Mark is our jack-of-all-trades and demonstrates a strong understanding for technical equipment and software systems. His previous experience in the civil field throughout Northern Ontario has enabled him to develop exceptional BIM skills. Since joining AerialBEST, he has played a crucial role in process management and advanced modelling of buildings and infrastructure. He is also a diligent equipment and systems maintainer ensuring that equipment and software are in peak condition for operations.
Eric, originally from North Bay, joined our team 2 years ago and has used his knowledge obtained at Carleton University to establish the environmental division of AerialBEST. He is determined to create a system that improves data collection in rural areas by using RPAS and remote sensing technologies to encourage sustainable development and responsible resource management. He is currently leading our Enhanced Forest Inventory services.
